The purpose of the Ricoh Global Services Deal & Contract Management team is to win and retain profitable business with Ricoh’s largest global clients, through the creation and successful negotiation of commercial proposals across all lines of Ricoh’s business. This requires a deep knowledge and understanding of the client, the competitive landscape and Ricoh’s delivery capabilities. Our team creates competitive and well-crafted proposal packages including commercial pricing models and commercial terms and conditions using the standards and best practice developed by our team.
The Contracts Negotiations Manager (CNM) is responsible for successfully negotiating the global contracts that meet the deal approval mandate given for each opportunity. This is a customer facing role that also works directly with a wide range of Ricoh-internal Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders.
- Following down-selection and award, lead the customer engagement process through contract negotiation to signature, ensuring the contract terms and conditions support the expected profitability, are compliant with the approval parameters and Ricoh is able to deliver on the stated obligations.
- Conduct final contract review, submitting contracts for corporate approval and subsequent customer signature.
- Hand over signed global contracts to the Operations Teams, via a formal on-boarding process, hence ensuring that they are understood by the necessary teams.
- As required, be available to support subsequent changes requiring contract amendment.
- Support bid teams in responding to requests for non-standard commercial content (terms and conditions, SLAs, etc.) and making key commercial decisions during the bid phase which will set the stage for contract negotiations when the tender is won.
- At both RFP and contract negotiation stages, provide and negotiate responses to requests for non-standard commercial content (terms and conditions, SLAs, pricing structures, etc.).
- Review and develop contractual documents (including Statement of Work) in cooperation with Legal, Technical, Product Marketing and other SMEs.
- Respond to queries and support the Operations team regarding application of negotiated contracts post signature.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines and escalate issues where required.
