Per Diem Occupational Therapist (CHT REQUIRED) - Yaphank

Job Description

• Evaluation and treatment of orthopedic diagnoses of the upper extremity
• Fabricate custom orthotics for post-surgical diagnoses and non-operative injuries in the upper extremity

Job responsibility

• Independent with evaluation and treating post-surgical and conservative orthopedic diagnoses of the upper extremity
• Strong skills in splint/orthotic fabrication.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, physicians, and staff
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team-focused environment
• Motivated to deliver positive patient outcomes

Job Qualification

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or eligible candidates sitting for the CHT exam in the near future.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational program by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), required. Master’s Degree, preferred
• Must have valid and up to date Occupational Therapist license
• Other related certifications
• Minimum one year of occupational therapy experience, preferred

Salary : $85,090 - $147,220
