Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated youth soccer coach to inspire young athletes and foster a love for the game. In this role, you will lead youth soccer teams through engaging practices and motivating matches, helping children develop their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Your enthusiasm and engagement will create a positive environment where kids can thrive both on and off the field.
Duties
- Review curriuculm and execute soccer practices that focus on skill development, game understanding, and engagement.
- Lead team warm-ups, activities, and scrimmages during training sessions.
- Provide clear instructions, encouragement, and constructive feedback to players of all skill levels
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and field safety measures.
- Foster a fun, inclusive environment that promotes respect, discipline, and positive behavior among participants.
- Communicate regularly with director and other coaches regarding player progress and upcoming events.
Skills
- Background in working with children and in the sport of soccer,
- Strong behavior management skills to motivate children and handle challenging situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with young players, parents, and other coaches effectively.
