Role Description
This part-time, on-site Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or LAPC (Licensed Associate Professional Counselor) role is based in Norcross, GA. The LMSW/LAPC will work closely with clients to provide counseling, develop treatment plans, and offer support in navigating recovery resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating group therapy sessions, providing individual therapy, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. The role also involves maintaining accurate case documentation and contributing to program development to meet client needs effectively.
Qualifications
- Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) OR Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia
- Strong skills in counseling, case management, and developing personalized treatment plans
- Experience in facilitating group therapy and providing individual support
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate professionally
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential case documentation
- Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery resources
- Compassion, empathy, and a dedication to patient-centered care
- Prior experience in addiction recovery settings is a plus
