What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intership CoHort position at northtexasbulls?
Interns will be assigned to one of three core departments—Football Operations, Front Office Administration, or Business Development—based on background, interest, and organizational needs.
Areas of Focus:
Assisting with practice setup and breakdown
Supporting film breakdown, scouting reports, and data entry
Coordinating team travel, meals, and schedules
Helping manage player logistics and compliance documentation
Managing communications and scheduling for team leadership
Assisting with HR-related onboarding and intern logistics
Supporting event and game-day coordination
Helping maintain internal documentation and project tracking
Assisting with sponsor outreach and activation tracking
Creating and supporting social media content and marketing campaigns
Conducting market research and lead generation
Supporting game-day activations, promotions, and VIP experiences
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Passion for sports and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment
Availability to work evenings/weekends for games and events (as needed)
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or tools like Canva, Google Workspace, etc. (role-dependent)
Requirements
Current enrollment in a college/university program or recent graduate (within the past 12 months)
Minimum availability of 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings/weekends for events or games
Strong interest in sports management, communications, operations, marketing, or related fields
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation to and from team offices, events, and the stadium (Dallas-based roles)
Professionalism and a team-oriented attitude at all times
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, etc.)
For Football Operations roles: Comfort working in physically active settings and assisting with athletic equipment/setup
For Business Development or Social Media roles: Familiarity with social platforms, Canva, or basic editing tools is a plus
