NorthStrive Companies Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Business Development & Acquisitions Analyst to join our growing team in Newport Beach. This is a full-time, early-career opportunity for an ambitious, personable self-starter who is interested in private equity, acquisitions, and corporate strategy.

Working directly alongside senior leadership, you'll help build our pipeline of acquisition opportunities — sourcing prospects, conducting outbound outreach, and building relationships with business owners, brokers, investment bankers, and other referral sources. As opportunities develop, you'll sit in on meetings with business owners and participate in real transactions, gaining broad exposure to how companies are evaluated and acquired. The role also includes travel and attendance at business, financial, M&A, and industry conferences, giving you a front-row seat to the deal-making process early in your career.

Key Responsibilities

· Source and identify potential acquisition opportunities that align with NorthStrive's investment strategy.

· Conduct market research and company analysis to help evaluate acquisition opportunities.

· Build and maintain relationships with business owners, brokers, investment bankers, and other referral sources through consistent outbound outreach and networking.

· Conduct outbound prospecting and direct outreach to generate new acquisition opportunities and referral relationships.

· Support due diligence efforts by gathering, organizing, and analyzing company information.

· Prepare presentations, reports, white papers, and market research for senior leadership.· Participate in meetings with business owners, brokers, and senior leadership as opportunities develop.

· Utilize AI tools and technology to improve research efficiency and workflow.

· Assist with special projects supporting NorthStrive and its portfolio companies.

· Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives, gaining direct exposure to how business decisions are made.

· Attend business, financial, M&A, and industry conferences on behalf of the firm.

· Travel as needed to meet with business owners, brokers, and industry contacts.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

· 1–3 years of professional experience, or recent graduates with strong internships are encouraged to apply.

· Demonstrated interest in business development, sales, mergers & acquisitions, or entrepreneurship.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence to engage business owners and industry professionals.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Professional, curious, and eager to learn.

· Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous internship or experience in sales, business development, brokerage, banking, or another client-facing role.

· Experience conducting company or industry research.

· Familiarity with AI productivity tools and financial research platforms.
