In this role, you’ll help bring weddings, member events, banquets, and club functions to life by assisting with planning, setup, execution, and event leadership. You’ll work closely with the Event Manager and banquet staff to create seamless experiences for our members and guests — all while keeping a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing
Event Prep & Setup
• Bring event visions to life using BEOs, timelines, and floorplans
• Help set up weddings, banquets, member events, and special functions
• Ensure linens, décor, tables, chairs, and service materials are event-ready
• Inspect setups to ensure everything looks polished and professional
• Print and organize weekly event diagrams and BEO packets
• Sit in on meeting and enter notes
Event Execution
• Help lead and support banquet staff during events
• Assist with wedding coordination and vendor communication
• Keep events flowing smoothly and timelines on track
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with professionalism and positivity
• Jump in wherever needed to make the event successful
Leadership & Team Support
• Train and guide banquet staff on proper setup, service, and breakdown procedures
• Attend BEO meetings, staff meetings, and pre-shift meetings
• Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Support a team-focused environment where everyone works together
Breakdown & Reset
• Help supervise event breakdown and room resets
• Ensure banquet areas stay clean, organized, and event-ready
• Assist with post-event walkthroughs and preparation for upcoming functions

Experience & Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous banquet, restaurant, hospitality, or event experience preferred
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and smartphone technology
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills
Physical Requirements
This role keeps you moving! Candidates should be comfortable:
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Moving quickly in a fast-paced event environment
• Bending, reaching, lifting, and assisting with setups/breakdowns
