What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Device Sales Specialist position at NorthStar Surgical?
We are currently recruiting a Medical Device Sales Specialist to manage existing business, develop new sales pipelines, and close new businesses in business-to-business sales. This position will require travel within the 5-state area (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa). This position will collaborate with various departments and upper management to achieve sales goals and create new strategies. Our ideal candidate is able to develop lasting relationships, is very outgoing, and is able to use analysis and logic to evaluate sales and marketing metrics.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell medical products to physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in the Twin Cities.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Conduct product presentations and educate healthcare professionals on product benefits.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field (preferred).
- 1 to 2 years of previous experience in sales. Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Twin Cities/Upper Midwest territory.
