Regional Sales Representative Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and business development, with a proven track record in managing accounts and driving revenue growth. As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence, fostering relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service while utilizing advanced sales techniques. Drive new partnerships and expand existing accounts for lab testing and healthcare billing services, focusing on behavioral health and recovery centers in Minnesota. Represent a suite of lab diagnostics and billing administration solutions designed to support mental health and substance use disorder providers.
Regional Sales Representative Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop relationships within recovery centers, treatment facilities, and behavioral health clinics
- Build credibility with administrators, clinical staff, and billing managers
- Share expertise on compliance, reimbursement, and billing best practices for behavioral healthcare
- Present solutions and negotiate service agreements customized for behavioral health and recovery organizations
- Meet/exceed territory sales and growth targets
- Collaborate with marketing to reach behavioral health networks and drive lead generation
- Stay current on regulatory and payer trends affecting lab billing in behavioral and addiction medicine
- Other duties as assigned
Regional Sales Representative Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of clinical/medical laboratory sales experience, preferably in toxicology, microbiology, or high-complexity testing environments and B2B healthcare sales, ideally with exposure to behavioral health, recovery services, or lab/billing roles.
2. Strong proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health record (EHR) integration (e.g., Procentive, Epic, Orchard).
3. Demonstrated ability to perform, validate, and troubleshoot moderate and high-complexity testing per regulatory standards.
4. Familiarity with toxicology screening, confirmatory testing (GC/MS, LC-MS/MS), and substance abuse panels (if relevant to your facility).
5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills to support multidisciplinary care teams.
6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7. Knowledge of mental health/substance use billing, and compliance is a strong plus
8. Track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals in a healthcare context
9. Outstanding relationship building, negotiation, and presentation skills
10. Ability to travel throughout Minnesota

This position has a base salary and benefits. The base salary for this role is between 65K-70K annually with a commission of all sales and new partnership revenue.
