NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Care Center Transfer Supervisor to join our team in Moss Feaster Embalming Center. The Care Center Transfer Supervisor oversees all drivers within the care center, ensuring timely, respectful, and compliant transportation of deceased individuals from the place of passing to designated facilities. This role combines hands-on removal duties with leadership responsibilities, focusing on quality assurance, adherence to protocols, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of drivers to ensure compliance with company standards and protocols
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to drivers.
- Transport deceased human remains and customers from various locations to Funeral Home and Cemetery
- Assist with funeral services such as transferring and lifting of deceased human remains, dressing and casketing, visitation, viewings and witness insertions at the crematory
- Handle general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles belonging to facility
- Help maintain facilities in a clean and orderly manner
- Treat all customers and passengers with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Drive company vehicles within legal standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and acceptable MVR check
- Ability to work weeknights and weekends
Compensation
- $19.00-$22.00/hr.
