Center Director - Early Education

Job title: Early Education Center Director Reports to: Director of Education Supervises: Employee, student interns, and volunteers assigned to center Job responsibilities: The center director is directly responsible for managing their center in accordance with applicable laws, NAEYC accreditation standards, and funders’ requirements. Due to the nature of the work and consumer needs, center directors must maintain a flexible work schedule. Job requirements: Director qualifications in Infant/Toddler and preschool, as defined by EEC standards. BA required. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills. Basic computer literacy preferred, with attainment a condition of continued employment. Demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff of varying experiential, educational, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
