What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Management/Public Funds Analyst position at Northstar Innovations?
This position will enhance the bank’s treasury management sales and support function by providing assistance to customers and bank staff relating to the bank’s treasury management solution set. This includes completion of forms, obtaining signatures, and assisting customers with day-to-day treasury management needs. Additionally, the Treasury Management Analyst will help complete proposals and reviews, assist with research and analysis of prospective and existing customers, and perform tasks as needed to contribute to the bank’s deposit and revenue growth.
Specific Job Functions & Responsibilities
➢ Support Treasury Management Officers, Public Funds Officer, and Branch managers in delivery and development of treasury/deposit proposals and account reviews.
➢ Fulfill treasury management support activities including training and assisting current and prospective clients on the bank’s treasury management services.
➢ Assist with public fund customer questions and/or issues relating to their accounts demonstrating strong
customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems and prevent customer dissatisfaction.
➢ Prepare documentation for treasury management and public fund clients and follow up to ensure timely completion.
➢ Assist with opening and maintaining public funds accounts, CD/CDARS renewals and maturities, and maintain contact distribution lists/customer account information.
➢ Assist with opening new ICS Sweep accounts and setup/maintenance of the DCP within IntraFi.
➢ Work closely with Treasury regarding public fund rate quotes and match requests.
➢ Perform weekly approval and updating of public fund rates to ensure timely Marketing email distribution.
➢ Perform monthly internal Audits on public fund CIFs, monitoring then reconciling of 2 Missing Document Reports.
➢ Key and initiate wire transactions as requested by customers following set guidelines, limits and procedures.
➢ Completion of public fund customer balance confirmations, as requested by Auditing firms.
➢ Assist with set-up of treasury management services, which would include the set-up of online banking, ACH, RDC, Positive Pay, Lockbox, User management, e-statements and analysis products.
➢ Perform other treasury management duties as required. This may include special projects, relationship reporting for loan committee, maintaining and coordinating various follow ups and schedules among other duties.
➢ Must complete all required annual training
➢ Follow required federal and state regulations and related internal policies and procedures
