Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Orthopedic Surgeon located in North Mississippi. The Orthopedic Surgeon will be responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions, and performing orthopedic surgical procedures including but not limited to joint replacements, fracture treatments, and spine surgeries. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team to develop patient treatment plans and deliver high-quality care. The Orthopedic Surgeon will also oversee patient follow-ups and rehabilitation strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes and coordinate with our Chief Medical Officer for patient care.
Travel to our locations in North Mississippi and Memphis will be required.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery
- Strong knowledge of spine and musculoskeletal medicine
- Proficiency in conducting surgeries and managing post-operative care
- Completion of a medical degree and appropriate residency in Orthopedic Surgery
- Current licensure to practice medicine and perform surgery
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
