Quality Inspector – Metal Fabrication- Aerospace and Military Parts

Metal Products Company is a precision metal fabricator producing Aerospace and Military contract components. We use Mazak and Haas CNC machines and advanced fabrication processes. We are seeking a Quality Inspector with strong attention to detail and solid metrology skills to ensure our parts meet strict requirements.
Responsibilities
- Inspect fabricated and CNC-machined parts using precision tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections
- Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators
- Document inspection results and maintain traceability
- Identify and report non-conforming parts
- Work with machinists and supervisors to resolve quality issues
Requirements
- Strong dimensional inspection and metrology experience
- Proficiency with common inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height/bore gauges, etc.)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tight tolerances
- Understanding of machining processes (Mazak, Haas, or similar)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and consistent with documentation
- Basic computer skills
Preferred
- CMM experience or certification (robotics/automated inspection a major plus)
- Experience in military, defense, or precision manufacturing
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
