SUMMARY: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our events team! This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and eager to learn the ins and outs of event management. You’ll work closely with the Event Director to help bring a variety of events to life — from weddings and golf outings to social gatherings and member events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in setting up, running, and breaking down events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Stay through the conclusion of large events to help with post-event cleanup and organization.
- Take ownership of planning and executing social events for club members.
- Learn to direct a banquet team and coordinate setup details.
- Gain practical knowledge of banquet etiquette, service standards, and event operations.
- Support the Event Director with day-to-day event logistics, timelines, and communication with staff and clients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to frequently move about inside the office and throughout facility. They must also be able to move event supplies, food, and kitchen equipment. They must be able to exchange accurate information with customers and others in the office while interacting. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The individual must be capable of reviewing their work for errors and adjust as necessary.
