Para-Planner
This position will require candidates to be organized, detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office systems, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, our ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fluid and sometimes challenging environment.
The primary responsibility in this role is to assist and support our Financial Planners/Advisors, to allow them to leverage their time with our clients effectively. What this entails will vary day-to-day and expand with familiarity of our firm’s technology platform, processes, culture and, most importantly, our clients.
As such, our ideal candidate must have:
- Some experience in the financial services industry and a general familiarity with investments account types.
- Effective oral and written communications skills, and an ability to convey complex information to clients and staff clearly and concisely
- Ability to address and solve problems with a “client first” attitude, and an understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy across tasks
- Effective oral and written communications skills, and an ability to convey complex information to clients and staff clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work both collaboratively and one-on-one to address clients’ needs and concerns with patience and care
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Office environment/applications a must, experience with electronic signature programs and Client Relationship Management software a plus
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Interacting with clients to schedule appointments and /or gather information for Planners/Advisors
- Generating reports and presentations for client meetings, and managing follow-up tasks
- Generating data and assisting in analyses for Investment Committee meetings and client portfolio reports
- Ongoing record-keeping and data management
- Full Time: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm in-person at our Conshohocken, PA office
