What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Well driller position at Northstar Environmental Services?
Qualifications
- We are seeking a NJ Licensed Well Driller: ERG, Journeyman, or Master License.
- Responsible for operating drilling rigs and equipment to install monitoring wells, collect soil and groundwater samples, and support environmental site investigations.
- Valid Class A or B CDL and ability to travel to project sites within the region as needed.
- Demonstrated experience with heavy equipment operation, including drilling rigs and associated support machinery.
- Ability to perform site and equipment inspection to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality of work.
- Experience in drilling or related field work within environmental, remediation, or oil & gas projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic geology, hydrogeology, and environmental remediation practices is beneficial.
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures and ability to follow written and verbal instructions on-site.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
