Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the right automotive parts and accessories, ensuring their needs are fully met.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and knowledge to recommend suitable solutions for vehicle maintenance and repair issues.
• Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts shelves, ensuring accurate stock levels using inventory management systems like CMMS or POS platforms.
• Process sales transactions efficiently through cashiering and POS systems while handling cash and credit payments securely.
• Provide detailed product information, explain warranties, and offer maintenance tips to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the service department and suppliers to fulfill orders promptly and accurately, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain organized records of sales, inventory movements, and customer interactions using Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, fostering positive communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments, with a strong understanding of automotive repair and service processes.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and repair techniques is highly desirable.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using inventory management systems like CMMS or inventory control software.
• Strong negotiation skills combined with retail math proficiency to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining profitability.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—along with phone etiquette that builds rapport with customers.
• Experience in retail sales, marketing strategies, and dealership operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting purposes.
