What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Management and Business Development position at Northstar Bank?

Position Summary: Provide a high level quality client service to commercial bank clients. An emphasis on providing cash management and deposit services to both existing commercial clients and prospects. Responsible for meeting sales goals, expense allocation, and productivity. Responsibilities include expanding new business development of Cash Management products and services, including deposits, overseeing the implementation, on-boarding and training for new customers, as well as providing ongoing support for customers.

Good understanding of loan products and requirements. Travel will be required for training or other business related issues.

Job Functions:

· Conduct prospecting calls to increase new and maintain existing banking relationships.

· Develop business relationships by sourcing and opening new deposit and treasury management products.

· Build a referral network for new prospects and expand existing client relationships.

· Partner with Managers and Commercial Lenders to identify prospective business opportunities and participates in joint sales calls.

· A primary point of contact for bank staff with inquiries related to Cash Management sales.

Knowledgeable in all features, benefits, processes and procedures for all Cash Management services; including all of the bank’s commercial products and services, as well as, deposit services.

· Attainment of target growth goals.

· Prepare and deliver product structuring and pricing of customer proposals and business account reviews

· Responsible for onboarding new commercial deposit accounts and related services with support from branch and operation teams.

· Refer other business opportunities to appropriate line of business within NB.

· Participate in community and business activities to enhance the image of NB in an effort to retain and build upon existing and new business within the market.

· Knowledgeable of industry and competitor cash management and deposit products. Monitor the marketplace to assess product, technology, and industry trends.

Education/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in business preferred with 3 –5 Years of Commercial Cash/Treasury Management sales experience and/or deposit gathering and calling experience. Solid knowledge of internal banking environment; knowledge of industry, competitor and bank cash management products and services. Superior financial and business acumen with proven sales and relationship building skills; preferably with Commercial Cash Management client bases. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
