Position Title: Quality Supervisor
Reports To: Quality Manager
Location: Phoenix
FLSA Status: Exempt
Direct Reports: 10 employees
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of the quality inspection and calibrations system. Additionally, this position also ensures for product shipments comply with customer requirements.
The Quality Supervisor reports to the Quality Manager and works with all levels of employees throughout the organization as necessary to facilitate quality assurance goals. This position supervises approximately 10 employees and is a full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and coordinate resources of the department to inspect parts per customer requirements while ensuring compliance to those requirements is met. Requirements include: Purchase Orders, Blueprints, Specifications, Etc.
- Scheduling of personnel for various work centers such as CMM, In-process & Final Inspection, Gauge Calibration
- When applicable, Coordinate customer Source Inspection and DCMA Inspection
- Assess and interpret customer drawings and the associated part design features characteristics
- Guide inspectors on the use of inspection tools.
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports as required by customers and AS9102
- Collaborate with customers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and evaluated during production
- Lead and oversee department resources to ensure annual goals and objectives are met
- Collaborate with various departments to assure inspection resources are aligned with production priorities
- Demonstrate continual improvement of inspection methods, workflows and associated processes
- Ensure ongoing training and development for inspection personnel

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience Required: Must have minimum 5 years aerospace manufacturing experience in a quality manager role with approximately 10 years of leadership/supervisory experience

Salary : $83,800 - $139,900
