What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Northside Metal Carports?
We are a fast-paced metal building fabrication/installation company. We are looking for someone who has the ability to balance many tasks back-to-back or simultaneously, and retain important information. In this fast-paced work environment, there is very little downtime, and are looking for someone who thrives in such situations. There is a lot of information to learn, from every interaction with a customer, to every new building estimate put together. Bi-lingual, (English/Spanish) preferred.
Job tasks include, but are not limited to customer service, answering multi-line phones, correspondences via email and Facebook. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe. You will be giving estimates for metal structures of all sizes, processing of customer orders, payment handling, scheduling, ordering materials, etc.
We are starting this position at $17.00 for a brief probationary period and will reassess accordingly after. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, some Saturdays required.
