Hourly Pay Range:
$33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.This application is an evergreen opportunity, which means by applying once, you'll be considered for current and future Respiratory Therapist positions at our Glenbrook Hospital location in Glenview.
Sign-on bonus potential up to $20,000 for full-time nights
Position Highlights:
- Full-time or PRN
- Days, Evenings, or Night shift (3rd shift)
- Sign on bonus potential
Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures
Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment
Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians
Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner
Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients
Provide patient and staff education
Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status
State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
