What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispensing Nurse position at Northshore Treatment Center PLLC?
We are looking for a qualified LVN/RN to promote and restore patients’ health. You will work with a variety of patients and you will provide direct nursing care along with physical or psychological support when required. You will provide coordination of inter-clinic/intra-clinic medical activities under the direction of the Program Physician and Program Director. The hours are Monday/ Wednesday/Friday 6:00 am-10:00 am and T/TH 6:00 am -9:00 am with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities
- Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs, complete medical aspects of intake screening, health assessment, TB skin test, and lab work, etc.
- Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
- Resolve or report on patients’ needs or problems
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc)
- Dispense Medication
- Monitor and record patient’s condition and document provided care services
- Prepares required reports that reflect medical components
- Administer workloads
- Maintains progress notes on a daily,weekly, and monthly basis
- Work within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team

- Associates/BS diploma in nursing
