Satellite Lead

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the assigned Field Supervisor, will assist in satellite kitchen operations of Secondary Academy For Success Schoool. Requires the ability to work between two locations: both production kitchen and satellite site. Be accurate and can communicate effectively with building administrators, parents, co-workers, students and others as needed. Requires the ability to solve problems and be flexible in a variety of food preparation and service circumstances; knowledge of food service routines and procedures and the ability to plan work. Must be able to model a positive, caring attitude towards students and staff. Requires the ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations. Must possess the ability to work with large and small equipment such as combi and convection ovens, range, dishwasher, steamer, steam jacketed kettle, microwave, garbage disposal, hot cabinet, mixer, point of sale system, which includes cashier and computers. Must be committed to the Strategic Plan Mission Statement and Objectives.

Salary: $21.30 - $25.87 Salary is based on the 2025-2026 Food Service Salary Schedule; (subject to change) salary placement is based on experience and longevity and will be determined by Human Resources.

Work Year: 193 days per year, 4.5 hours.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in a kitchen environment; may have to stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and requires occasional lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
