What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Care Specialist - Northshore position at Northshore Red Dog Pet Resort and Spa?
Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa is looking to hire dog lovers for our high-end Resort & Spa located in Saugus, MA. If you have a passion for pets and are looking to continue your career in animal care, then this may be the position for you! We are hiring for full-time and part-time Pet Care Specialist positions with start dates as soon as possible.
Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
Schedule: We are currently hiring for morning, evening, and weekend availability. Candidates must be able to work regular weekends and holidays.
- Full-Time- Morning Availability: Candidates should be available within the 6:00 AM–3:30 PM window. Typical morning shifts are 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional adjustments to 7:00 AM–3:30 PM based on business needs.
- Part-Time- Evening Availability: Candidates should be available within the 11:00 AM–9:00 PM window. Typical evening shifts may include 11:00 AM–7:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM.
- Open availability is a plus.
Responsibilities of a Pet Care Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Daily supervision and care of dogs and cats for lodging and daycare
- Overseeing doggie daycare groups
- Walking and exercising our guests
- Feeding and administering medications
- Daily cleaning of guest quarters and surrounding areas
- Daily health monitoring of our guests
Candidates interested in this opportunity must have excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to work in a team environment. You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work regular weekends and holidays. You must be extremely attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on pet care environment. Most importantly, you must absolutely love dogs and cats!

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
