About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Interim History Teacher to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with high school students with social and emotional challenges in an environment that supports individualized, differentiated instruction while addressing students’ social, emotional, and recovery needs.

Responsibilities
•Plan, implement, and assess engaging history lessons
•Manage all aspects of classroom instruction, curriculum development, and student assessment.
•Complete all professional responsibilities, including:
oAttendance tracking
oGrade reporting
oSupervision of students
oAnnual IEP development and progress reports
•Collaborate with colleagues, clinicians, and families to support student success.

Qualifications
•Required:
oBachelor’s degree in Education or related field
oMassachusetts DESE Certification (Special Education preferred)
oExperience working with students with social/emotional disabilities
•Preferred:
oKnowledge of substance use disorders and recovery
oExperience working with students with behavioral disorders
•Strong organizational skills, technology proficiency, and ability to work with diverse learners.
•Compassion, patience, and dedication to student growth.
