Role: Adult Residential Support Professional – Dayshift

Location: Based at two nearby facilities, providing 24-hour care for adults in crisis with mental health or substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

• Offer compassionate support, encouragement, and guidance to residents
• De-escalate crisis situations using non-restrictive techniques
• Assist with daily living skills, medication, and basic healthcare
• Facilitate educational and recovery group activities
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Document progress and maintain confidential records
• Encourage independence through skill-building and positive modeling
• Support household tasks such as light cleaning and shopping
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preferred experience in mental health, crisis services, or human services
• College coursework in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background, caregiver, and medical screenings
