Role: PCU Registered Nurse (RN) in hospital settings, providing high-quality patient care within acute-care environments.
Responsibilities: Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions; monitoring cardiac rhythms; administering medications and IV therapies; collaborating with healthcare teams; maintaining electronic medical records; ensuring infection control and patient safety; educating patients and families; adapting to various hospital units.
Qualifications & Skills: Active Virginia RN license; at least 2 years recent PCU experience within 4 years; current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption; additional credentials as required.
Key Duties: Providing patient assessments, medication administration, care documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and adherence to safety standards. Flexibility to choose shifts, including day and night options, with the ability to work as little as one shift per month, offering daily and weekly pay options through easy mobile scheduling.
