- Conducts patient assessments, recognizes changes in condition, and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Updates care plans based on patient response and communicates changes effectively.
- Provides direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and safety.
- Utilizes performance indicators for quality monitoring and participates in performance improvement activities.
- Educates patients and families, assessing learning needs and ensuring understanding.
- Maintains professional licensure, completes mandatory training, and reflects on practice for continuous improvement.
- Acts as a patient advocate and collaborates with healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- One year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training; LPN experience accepted for internal candidates.
- Current RN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or applicable state license.
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
