We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide medical and mental health services within a behavioral healthcare facility.

- Providing high-quality medical care, including screening for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Assessing patients using evidence-based tools and developing individualized treatment plans
- Managing medications, detoxification protocols, and monitoring for complications
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations, physical exams, and documenting progress in electronic health records
- Supporting on-call coverage and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Licensing and DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances, with additional training on opioid treatment preferred
- Experience in addiction medicine or behavioral health is preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare standards like JCAHO and ASAM criteria is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to work collaboratively
- Developing cost-effective treatment strategies and supporting high standards of patient care
- Participating in peer reviews and supporting team members
- Fulfilling on-call responsibilities and maintaining compliance with regulations
