Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

Role: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist or Special Procedures Technologist responsible for providing patient care and assisting physicians during invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive, sterile procedures for adults and adolescents, responding quickly to patient condition changes.
• Manage imaging, maintain equipment and inventory, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Handle on-call duties and operate effectively under stressful or emergent situations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Four years of clinical patient care experience or graduation from a cardiovascular invasive program.
• Relevant health sciences education (e.g., cardiovascular technology, nursing, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, ultrasound).
• Certification in RCIS, RCES, ARRT Cardiac Vascular Interventional, or ARRT Vascular Interventional within two years of hire.
• ACLS certification within six months, BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in stressful environments.
