Northshore Education Consortium (NEC) is anticipating openings for the 2026–2027 school year for Special Education Teachers across some of our programs.
We are seeking educators licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in Moderate Special Education. Successful candidates will be committed to fostering student achievement, equity, and access for all learners, while supporting students with a range of learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Teachers at NEC work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction in highly supportive and structured learning environments. Experience working with students with social-emotional disabilities is strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Special Education required
Experience working with students with special needs preferred
Knowledge of differentiated instruction and behavior support strategies
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to inclusive and equitable practices
