Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to support multiple programs under our Missile Defense Weapon Systems (MDWS) Operating Unit (OU) as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. This position will be located at our Huntsville, AL location.
The individual selected for this position will serve as the Security, Education, Awareness & Training (SETA) program representative to the MDWS OU and will report directly to the MDWS OU Security Manager. The selected candidate will be expected to provide education and training material to the employee population on the security requirements in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), DD254s, and all other company and customer security directives. Additionally, the position will support the MDWS OU Security Manager in the creation and implementation of program based standard operating procedures (SOP) annexes, OPSEC, and concept of operation (CONOP) documentation. In this role the candidate will be responsible for interfacing with all levels of briefed personnel to include company executives, program management and government customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting fast-paced, high-profile programs; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Routinely support new business pursuits and classified solicitation activities.
- Develop a targeted SETA program and educational materials.
- Develop and maintain an annual SETA strategic plan and topic schedule.
- Conducts security trainings and briefings.
- Coordinate with the Security Manager and NG Enterprise Security on the development of all business security training material.
- Active security messaging in all business communication platforms.
- Aids Security team in preparation of and during internal and external security reviews and audits as required.
- Assists in the development of innovative security learning solutions for the employee population.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures specific to the program to include SOP annexes, CONOPs, internal work instructions, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's degree with eight years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen and have current and active Secret Security Clearance/with ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with a background investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Strong working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Supplements, DoDM 5205/07 V1-4, ICD 705, and ISLs.
- Working knowledge of DoD classified programs.
- Strong attention to detail and writing capabilities.
- Ability to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing.
- Strong ability to present briefings and educational material.
- Understanding and familiarity of DD-254 Implementation Requirements.
- Familiarization with issuing and overseeing contracts for facility security.
- Demonstrated positive working relationship with internal and external customers.
- Proficient with DISS, Lenel Access System, and SIMs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
- Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- OPSEC program experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- DCSA CDSE certification (SFPC, PSC, etc.) desired
