We’re looking for a Bank Applications Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and performance of our enterprise application ecosystem and centralized Help Desk. In this role, you’ll guide the technology that supports our teams, protects our systems, and keeps us ready for regulators and auditors.

What You’ll Do
Lead Enterprise Application Operations
You will oversee the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of critical banking and enterprise applications. From planning roadmaps to managing vendors and ensuring operational excellence, you’ll ensure our systems deliver value, stability, and scalability.
Build a World-Class Support Experience
Lead our centralized Help Desk and application support teams to deliver responsive, high-quality service to employees across the organization. You’ll establish service standards, implement best practices, and continuously improve the user experience.
Ensure Regulatory and Audit Readiness
As a key liaison with external auditors and regulators, including the FDIC, you will ensure our enterprise applications and controls meet regulatory expectations and maintain readiness for audits and examinations.
Drive Technology Governance and Risk Management
You’ll develop and maintain governance frameworks for SOX in-scope and high-risk applications, ensuring strong security, access controls, and compliance practices across the enterprise.
Partner Across the Organization
Work closely with business leaders to understand operational needs, improve system integrations, streamline workflows, and identify technology solutions that enhance performance and customer experience.
Lead Strategic Technology Initiatives
From enterprise service management to business continuity planning, you’ll guide initiatives that strengthen operational resilience, optimize technology investments, and align IT capabilities with business strategy.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will:
Lead enterprise application support and Help Desk operations
Govern the lifecycle of critical banking applications
Implement and manage IT service management practices (ITIL-aligned)
Maintain SOX compliance and audit-ready application environments
Manage technology vendors and enterprise application contracts
Serve as an executive escalation point for complex technical issues
Support FDIC examinations and external audit activities
Drive enterprise system integration and workflow improvements
Oversee application security, access governance, and risk management
Guide strategic planning, budgeting, and technology investment decisions
Leadership Responsibilities
You will lead and develop a team of talented professionals responsible for application support, service delivery, and governance.

What You Bring
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Equivalent professional experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience
You likely bring:
8–10 years of progressive experience in enterprise application management, IT service management, or technology operations
5 years in banking technology, application support, or deposit systems
3 years managing cross-functional technology teams
Experience working within regulated financial institutions
Bonus points if you have experience with:
IT service delivery frameworks
Enterprise application governance
Vendor contract management
Technology operations within compliance-driven environments
Military technical experience may also be considered in place of traditional education or work history.
Certifications (Preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
