Northridge is seeking an upbeat, self-motivated server/wait staff to join our mighty team! If you enjoy working with older adults and are able to carry out duties in a fun and friendly manner, then look no farther! Responsibilities include but are not limited to (preparation, taking meal orders, serving food and drinks, cleanup of dining area, and other duties assigned by the Kitchen Director…)
Dining is provided three times daily! Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner!

Servers/wait staff need to have basic customer service experience. Help our cooks and residents in a supportive, positive environment.
Applicants must be:
- Positive, kind, and compassionate
- Friendly and upbeat (good energy is a must!)
- Diligent, dependable, and self-motivated
- Physically able to:
- Walk and stand 2–4 hours per shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times during a shift
The grouchy, grumpy, or self-absorbed need not apply.
Employment Details
- Servers/wait staff are W-2 employees (not independent contractors)
- Hourly wages based on experience

Responsibilities
- Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
- Help prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
- Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
- Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
- Discard leftovers and take out garbage
- Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
- Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
- Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
Skills
- Proven experience as a dietary aide
- Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions
- Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
