Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our dedicated team at Northridge Rehabilitation & Care Center. As a leader in long-term care, we provide exceptional care and support to our residents, and we're looking for a talented professional to help drive our nursing team's success. In this critical role, you will work closely with our Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, manage staff, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department
Supervise and mentor staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with other departments, including therapy, dietary, and social services, to ensure seamless care coordination
Conduct patient rounds, provide guidance and support to staff, and address any resident concerns or issues
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as a RN or in a leadership role in long-term care
Current RN license in the state of Ohio
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
