What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marching Band Assistant- Part Time Supplemental position at Northridge Local Schools?
The Northridge High School Marching Band (Johnstown, OH) is seeking an Assistant Band Director for the upcoming season. This is a part-time supplemental position.
The selected candidate will be expected to attend summer rehearsals, after-school practices, football games, and other performances throughout the season. With marching band experience, responsibilities include assisting with music rehearsals, sectionals, and marching technique. Without marching band experience, responsibilities mainly include helping with various administrative tasks. The Northridge Marching Band is a hybrid show-style band with approximately 90 members.
Any applicant with a musical background and/or marching band experience is encouraged to apply. Applicants without such experience who are passionate about working with middle/high school students and have administrative skills are also encouraged to apply.
