We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Dental Practice Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Dental office management, with a strong background in dental practice administration, financial oversight, and team supervision. This role requires a proactive leader capable of ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike. The Dental Practice Manager will serve as the cornerstone for delivering exceptional patient care while managing the business aspects of the practice.
Duties
- Oversee all administrative functions of the dental practice, including scheduling, patient records management, and front-office operations.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and insurance reimbursements utilizing systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and OSHA requirements to safeguard patient privacy and safety.
- Coordinate with Dental professionals to optimize clinic workflows, manage medical records.
- Implement policies for human resources management including hiring, onboarding, staff development, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor clinic operations to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and quality of care while managing practice growth initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience in Dental office management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing clinical staff such Dental asistants or dental hygienists along with administrative personnel.
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency with practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care processes, and billing procedures.
- Experience in office management within a healthcare environment that emphasizes quality patient care and operational excellence.
