We are Northpoint Eye Studio, and our ultimate goal is to provide the best optical care to our patients. We care for our team members, just as much as we care for our patients and strive in providing a warm, positive, and energetic atmosphere.

As an Optician with Northpoint Eye Studio, you'll be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service by anticipating patients' needs, listening carefully, and asking the right questions to ensure each visit is an excellent experience from start to finish.

You'll help patients find the perfect lens fit, educating them along the way, and using your product knowledge to make the process smooth and efficient.

You'll also balance pricing to be both fair for patients and beneficial for our office. If you ever have any concerns or questions, you'll have the support of Dr. Adeleke.

DAILY SNAPSHOT

· Clean and organize frames and shelves daily to create a bright, inviting environment for our patients.

· Use a lensometer to verify prescriptions, ensuring every detail is right.

· Inspect frames and lenses for any defects, making sure the correct materials are used. Notify patients and make any necessary adjustments for a comfortable fit.

· Assist patients in selecting the perfect frames, educate them on lens options, take precise measurements, and dispense their new eyewear with a smile.

· Educate patients on how to care for their frames and lenses, ensuring they enjoy their new eyewear for years to come.

· Notify patients when their eyewear is ready and follow up within two weeks to ensure they’re happy with their lenses and prescription.

· Carefully inspect invoices for each job order to ensure correct charges. Promptly contact the lab to resolve any issues the same day.

· Be the friendly second point of contact for incoming calls and assist callers with questions about patient accounts, financial issues, insurance, and appointment scheduling.

· Take messages and ensure they reach the right person promptly.

· Warmly greet patients by name as soon as they enter the office and check them in if the patient care coordinator is unavailable.

· Carefully scan invoices and save them to the patient’s folder. Keep track of the materials and products we use, understanding our processes and efficiency.

· Order and maintain optical supplies, equipment, and frames promptly; work with labs to negotiate the best pricing and services.

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES

· You are a certified optician with at least 3 years sales and eyewear experience, and excel at building trust and rapport with patients, making them feel valued and at ease throughout their experience.

· You work efficiently and smoothly, ensuring tasks are completed promptly while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

· You have hands-on experience with a variety of lens and frame products, understanding their features and benefits to better assist patients.

· You feel confident and comfortable in completing frame and lens repairs, showing care and dedication to meeting patients' needs.

· You pay close attention to detail in every aspect of your work, ensuring accuracy and precision in prescription verification, orders, and repairs.
