Role Description
NorthPark Center is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will focus on maintaining the property’s physical aspects, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires collaborating with team members and external vendors to create a safe, well-maintained environment for visitors and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance fields, such as plumbing, electrical repair, HVAC systems, and carpentry.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and technical issues effectively.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards in facility management.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
- Physical ability to perform job tasks, such as lifting, standing, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or building operations is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in maintenance-related fields are a plus.
