About the Role
Northmen Roofing is seeking a Roofing Project Manager to oversee on site the successful execution of residential and specialty roofing projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, managing schedules, ensuring quality control, and maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.
This position requires a strong understanding of roofing systems, jobsite management, and customer service, along with the ability to proactively solve problems and maintain high standards of workmanship throughout each project.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
• Manage roofing projects from pre-construction through completion
• Coordinate scheduling of crews, materials, and inspections
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
Quality Control
• Perform jobsite inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Verify installations meet manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Identify and resolve issues proactively
Client Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during projects
• Provide updates on schedule, progress, and any changes
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused experience
Team & Subcontractor Coordination
• Work closely with subcontractors and field crews
• Ensure proper execution of scope and adherence to safety standards
• Assist in managing performance and accountability
Documentation & Systems
• Maintain accurate job records, notes, and progress updates
• Utilize JobNimbus (or similar systems) for project tracking
• Coordinate with internal team for billing, change orders, and closeout
Qualifications Required
• Experience in roofing project management or construction management
• Strong understanding of roofing systems (tile, shingle, commercial preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Clean driving record (ability to get on company auto insurance policy)
• Clean legal record (ability to pass security screening for gated communities)
Preferred
• Experience with tile roofing systems or high-end residential projects
• Familiarity with JobNimbus or similar CRM/project management systems
• Background in construction scheduling and quality control
