We are seeking a dependable and motivated Landscape Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, health, and safety of commercial properties through high-quality landscape services. Duties
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and debris removal to maintain clean and professional properties.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete seasonal services including spring and fall cleanups, mulching, pruning, and bed maintenance.
- Assist with snow and ice management tasks during winter months, including shoveling, salting, and equipment operation as assigned.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly to reduce downtime.
- Follow job specifications, site plans, and supervisor instructions to ensure work meets company quality standards.
- Maintain job documentation and photos as required for scheduling, quality control, and client reporting.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete jobs efficiently while adhering to safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or residential landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and tools, or willingness to learn through hands-on training.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, professional results on every property.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment care and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English to understand job instructions and coordinate with team members.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
- Experience working in a team environment or in customer-facing roles is a plus, supporting professionalism and efficiency on-site.
