Retail Sales Assistant

We’re currently adding a new Retail Sales Assistant to our Kansas City team. This is an entry level Retail Sales Assistant role built for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience working with customers while developing real-world sales skills in a fast-paced environment.

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll interact directly with customers, introduce wireless solutions, and help guide each person through the decision-making process. This entry level opportunity focuses on learning through experience, building confidence, and improving performance over time.

Every entry level Retail Sales Assistant is trained from the ground up and supported by a team that prioritizes growth and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Speak directly with customers to present AT&T products and service options
• Use a consultative approach to support sales conversations
• Assist customers with account setup, upgrades, and service changes
• Learn how to assess customer needs and recommend solutions
• Track daily activity and work toward improving sales results
• Collaborate with other Retail Sales Assistant team members to achieve team goals
• Maintain a professional and consistent customer experience
• Develop confidence within an entry level Retail Sales Assistant role

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers
• Interest in gaining experience in sales and customer interaction
• Ability to learn quickly in an entry level environment
• Reliable, coachable, and motivated mindset
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven setting
• Customer service or retail experience is helpful, but not required
• Driven to grow beyond an entry level Retail Sales Assistant position
