Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to transforming residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, bringing vibrant visions to life with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the construction industry. This role will begin as a 1099 contracted position for our exterior season with options for continuing and joining through our interior/winter season. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality on occasion
- Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and coatings using hand tools or power tools such as airless paint sprayers and brushes
- Execute various types of painting including residential, commercial, industrial, renovation, restoration, and construction site painting
- Maintain safety standards on-site by handling tools properly and adhering to construction site protocols
- Traveling to and from job sites - with transportation provided as available
- Maintain punctual and consistent attendance to ensure project schedules and daily timelines are met
- Will train the right candidate
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment
- Experience with renovation projects requiring restoration techniques or specialty coatings like industrial painting or specialty finishes
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile task execution on complex projects
- Must possess a highly dependable work ethic with a commitment to consistent, on-time attendance.
