What you’ll do

- Assist in the management of medication inventory, including ordering, restocking, and expiration date checks.
- Provide outstanding patient service by answering inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage and side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, particularly in acute care and critical care settings.
- Perform IV infusion preparations using aseptic techniques to maintain safety and sterility.
- Conduct intake assessments to gather necessary information for medication therapy management.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role within a pharmacy setting.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy environments.
