Duties
- Install central vacuum systems according to detailed schematics and technical specifications
- Use power tools, hand tools, and ladder work to assemble and mount components securely
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and plumbing layouts for precise installation
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades on existing systems
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain system features and provide maintenance tips
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation processes, service reports, and parts used
Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical knowledge, appliance repair, and equipment repair techniques
- Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC principles, and ladder use
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and refrigeration-related troubleshooting is a plus
- Experience working with power tools, box trucks for delivery or service calls, and assembly tasks
- Customer service skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly to clients
- Background in field service or as a service technician is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical diagrams and perform installations following detailed instructions
- Valid driver’s license with delivery driver experience preferred for transporting equipment safely
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
