Community Residential Support Staff
Northland Counseling Center – Grand Rapids, MN 55744
Join our team at Northland Counseling Center as a Community Residential Support Staff member! In this rewarding role, you’ll help adults in a community residential setting build independent living and social skills, while supporting their daily needs and well-being.
Direct Support Professional Key Responsibilities
- Provide care and program services to residents in a community residential setting
- Teach and support independent living skills and social skills
- Encourage and participate in recreational and work activities with residents
- Assist with implementing behavioral and health management programs
- Support residents with healthy cooking, cleaning, transportation, and daily routines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and staff
- Attend all mandatory meetings and in-service trainings
- No hands-on personal care required
Schedule & Pay
- Flexible shifts available: mornings, afternoons, or nights
- Must be available to work at least 2 weekends per month
- Increased pay for weekend shifts and shift differentials
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; QMHP qualification a plus
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Must pass a criminal background check

- Must be able to commute to or relocate to Grand Rapids, MN 55744 before starting work
