Laundry Attendant and Operator - 3 10 hour shifts + On Call

We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join our team here at Northland Commercial Laundry, one of the fastest growing laundromats north of the twin cities! The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, able to learn and adapt quickly to new situations, and ultimately ensure all garments and linens are washed, dried and ready to be delivered to customers. Your duties will include sorting, folding and inspecting clean laundry products before delivery. The goal is to provide excellent service to our customers by delivering clean laundry products with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and sort dirty laundry from various sources (e.g. hospitals, nursing homes, commercial customers and business partners).
• Wash and dry clothes by machine according to the washing instructions provided by customers.
• Pack clean laundry in appropriate containers for delivery or pickup to destination.
• Record customer information accurately.
• Transport laundry carts throughout the facility and in and out of delivery vehicles.
• Consistently lift 35-45lbs throughout your shift.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean, functioning properly, in working order and presentable to customers.

Schedule:

• Sunday/Monday/Tuesday 6:00am-4:30pm
• Two 15 min paid breaks, 1 30 min unpaid lunch
• On call Wednesday/Thursday or Friday/Saturday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
