Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake inspections
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair and replace faulty components with precision
- Execute automotive repairs including engine work, transmission servicing, suspension repairs, and electrical diagnostics
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations
- Assist with tire service, wheel alignments, and other mechanical adjustments to optimize vehicle performance
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced, ensuring transparency and quality control
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical work
- Hands-on mechanic experience with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for automotive service tasks
- Knowledge of automotive service standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members
- Prior experience with sales or recommending maintenance services is a plus but not required
