What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Systems Coordinator position at NorthLakes Community Clinic?
Candidates must reside within NorthLakes' service area at the time of hire and maintain residency throughout employment.
The IT Systems Coordinator will support day-to-day IT systems operations, monitor and maintain IT systems, and help to develop and deliver IT training resources for staff to facilitate optimal use of systems. The IT Systems Coordinator works with the IT Systems Manager to develop and execute project plans and ensure systems run efficiently and securely. Travel is required to support onsite projects.Salary begins at $24.75/hr. per hour depending on experience.
Essential Job Functions
Essential Functions of the Job: [Other duties may be assigned.]
Work with key stakeholders on project implementation during all phases of the project lifecycle.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including but not limited to: Switches, firewalls, servers, Wi-Fi access points and Security Systems.
Assists with documentation of technical issues and solutions by contributing to the internal IT knowledge base.
Assists with maintaining accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
Help maintain and support security best practices in accordance with organization policies, HIPAA and audit requirements.
Install and update company software as business needs dictate.
Provide technical support for technology within the organization including but not limited to: Desktop computers/Laptops/workstations, server and switching infrastructure, VOIP, and other hardware and software used by staff.
Assists with training of staff and assistance as needed with various hardware and software platforms as business needs dictate.
Works with IT Systems Manager on Cybersecurity, IT administration tasks, networking and system monitoring and performance and various IT operational policies.
Help administer and work in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and various virtualized environments.
Collaborates with other IT Staff and offers input and recommendations on various projects and contributes to the overall success of the department.
Diagnose system issues, research, evaluate, analyze and problem solve to reach resolution.
Works with leadership team to plan for and implement IT projects and coordinates projects as assigned, including developing project plans, working with stakeholders on defining timeframes, developing user resources, and communicating project status.
Communicates effectively with leadership team and collaborates across departments.
Prioritize concurrent tasks and team requests to meet tight deadlines; flag obstacles and propose solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum Education Required: Associate degree in IT or related field
Years of Required Experience: 1 year of experience with IT systems or related field, or a combination of relevant education and professional experience.
Required Systems Experience: Computer applications/software: Windows, Virtualization, Microsoft Office, and project management
Preferred Systems Experience: Microsoft Power Apps, excellent communication and customer service skills, experience working in health care settings and as part of a team.
